Sneak Peek: Park Avenue Princess

August saw the Now style team hot foot it over to NYC for some shoot extravaganzas.

120 Starbucks (approximately) later, a weary looking crew landed at Heathrow airport with five super-shoots under our Zara belts.

With the jet-lag now a distant memory, we can now revel in the delights we created stateside.

First up my 'Park Avenue Princess' story - think up-town sixties bombshell!

A Baked Boyfriend Brunch

Ok I'm blogging about brekkie again.

Hello ladies
Last weekend Rob rustled up a real breakfast treat for me after a hectic week.

I say brunch, but we actually found ourselves scoffing his handy work at 7.30am (lunatics). Come lunch time we were hanging out in Byron Burger- but that's another story...

I'm afraid I can't really tell you how to make it, as I lay in bed like a true princess until the plates were hot on the table.

My guess is, bung a bag of spinach, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, maybe a dash of olive oil into a oven dish and plop the eggs (carefully) on to the bed of veg. Oven cook for 15 mins.

He served it up with chunky organic bacon and fresh coffee off the hob.

Perhaps one for the weekend?

All About Navy Baby

Autumn has arrived and so has my obsession with the moody-blue hue.

In the last month I've laid my hands on a navy faced watch, boyfriend blazer and I'm collecting nail polishes by the second.

Sneak Peek: The 6 biggest players

The moodboard

Inspired by the Olympics and Paralympics this summer I knocked together a fashion athletics style shoot for the Now readers by celebrating the '6 biggest players'.

Think sports inspired fashion legends, knockout pleats, sexy netting and body hugging body-con.

Come shoot day I was rolling around the studio doing my styling thing.

Mug Alert

After some present inspiration? Then feast your Tuesday morning peepers on McLaggan Smith Mugs.

I picked up the design on the left for my coffee loving man and the cute kitten mug for myself.

If you can't find the cup of your choice (I'd be hugely surprised) then you can specially commission a mug for that personal touch.

I've spent hours browsing the quirky, cute and down-right funny slogans - see some of my favs below.

All mugs cost roughly around eight quid and it's an extra fiver to get them personalised. Good huh?

I'm back!

I feel like a naughty school girl who's seriously fell behind with her homework and should be on detention for a week. Why? Because  I haven't posted a blog in 5 weeks and 3 days.

It's confirmed I'm officially the worst fashion/lifestyle/ health blogger.

My lack of blogging could be down to the fact that over the past 5 weeks and 3 days, I've managed to fit in a work trip to Portugal, a holiday to Italy, avid following of the Olympics, various weekends away, plus a long hard working week in NYC.

So I think it would be fair to say I've been more than busy.

However all of the above activities does mean I have some amazing content to update you with over the next coming weeks, forgiven?

Hey ho, let's move on.

Hello handsome
How hot is Usain Bolt?

He caught my interest when I learned that he eats chicken nuggets in-between races, next he was winking at me at the 100m starting line (through the TV of course), then his appearance on Jonathan Ross last night had me in fits of flirty giggles.

What has this man got going that Colin Farrell hasn't?

Maybe his three gold medals, the fact that he didn't seem to break into a sweat as he practically swaggered over the 100m finish line.

Or simply being the fastest man alive is more than enough to keep us ladies interested...

Either one, I say bring on Rio 2016.

The Best Place for Brunch in London

I've stopped by the Riding House Cafe for many a PR breakfast treat- the poached eggs and sourdough toast are a wicked mid-week pick me up.

The Bar
However, I've got to admit The Riding House is all about weekend brunch.

I hadn't seen my boyfriend for a couple of weeks, so what better way to get reacquainted than over a Bloody Mary and tasty eggs?

The restaurant and bar feels so NYC with the open plan bar, teal and red leather seats and exposed brick work.

Lets put it this way, Carrie and her girls wouldn't look out of place in this joint

We sat in our booth surrounded by girls and boys alike, slurping on Sunshine smoothies out of glass milk bottles and tucking in to Eggs Royale  and Buttermilk Pancakes.

Obvs I went for the eggs.

They came poached on top of a bed of fried squash, courgette and tomato in hash brown form, sprinkled with pumpkin seeds.

My manfriend, chose a man friendly dish - a Reuben salt beef sandwich drowned in Thousand Island dressing and cheese.

I'm drooling as I type.

The Bloody Mary was certainly more than belly warming too. Enough fire to extinguish any hangover.

Book for Saturday brunch soon.

I will be.
